Landscape project

In the art class we are starting a new landscape project.  Everyone produced their own landscape picture using pastels.  We will be turning these into mosaics, starting next week.

Experimenting with drawing.

Every week in the art class we start with some drawing.  For the past couple of weeks we have been experimenting with all drawing on the same picture using different coloured felt tip pens.

And combining different media in the same picture.  These examples have biro, felt tip pen and charcoal.  It really loosens everyone up, and gives us all confidence.

Papier Mache bowls

Everyone has now made three bowls using papier mache of newspaper strips and very diluted PVA.  Next week everyone will start to paint them with their own designs.  In the designs we have been thinking about design elements that will connect the three bowls.
